Hello Spring

We know it is spring when we start to get strawberries in our weekly box.

I couldn't resist taking this picture after I came home from our CSA last night.  The beets were giant and were topped with a huge amount of greens (which we sauteed and ate last night.)  Doesn't looking at this make you hungry?

    Lucky Southwesterners. I'm just spreading fertilizer on my garden. Northeast blues. We are getting the first leafy greens from the pros up here so there is hope.

    Yes, the green houses for our CSA are churning out greens, next weeks box:
    LPO Spinach
    LPO Arugula
    LPO Lettuce
    LPO Salad Mix
    LPO Bok Choi
    Bunch Carrots
    1 lb Strawberries
    Avocados
    Cucumbers
    Oranges
    Broccoli

    The bok choi is one of our favorites!
